I checked the loquat tree this morning, and half the tree is getting ripe, the other half is still green, and about 5 percent are getting picked off by the birds.
Loquats are slightly sweet and juicy, and they blossom in early spring. The only problem with a loquat tree is that unless you're actually prepared for them, you get bombarded. So, anyone got suggestions for loquat recipes?
